Gas Springs | Everything in Stock
All standard gas springs are stock items and are available for fast delivery.
The standard gas spring range covers over 2,000 dimensions and is accompanied by a large selection of End Fittings with countless mounting options.
All gas springs on this page are the compressing-gas-spring variant. They provide resistance when the piston rod is pressed into the cylinder.
We have made it easy to find the necessary gas spring and gas damper. With over 2,000 different dimensions in stock, we have one of Europe´s largest selection.
The range consists of lengths between 86,00 mm and 1066,00 mm. After selecting the model, you can use the filters to narrow your search to the exact dimensions you need.
Steel and stainless steel
On this page it is possible to choose between two types of material: standard black painted steel and stainless steel. Black-painted steel models are not rust protected, but the piston rod is nitride-treated which provides moderate protection in humid environment. When used in a humid environment, stainless steel models are recommended. It is also possible to choose between models with welded eyes and models with threads in the end. The threaded models allows you to mount specific end fittings and other types of accessories to suit your needs. See the range of end fittings here.
Don't know the force needed?
The selection of gas springs ranges from 20 Newton to 2500 Newton (2.03 Kg - 254.92 Kg). If you do not know the force required, you can choose the Variload model. With that model you can manually adjust the force as needed. Note that force power can only be reduced. Read more on the product page.
The Gas springs can be used for a wide range of applications.
For private individuals, the gas springs can used in applications in caravans, horse trailers, cabinets, gates, gas boxes, tailgates, doors, beds, roof boxes and many more.
If gas springs in cars or other structures are replaced with our gas springs, Sodemann Industrial Springs cannot be held responsible for any differences in performance or damage to cars or structures.
GF version - Gas springs have threads at both ends. The size of the thread depends on the piston rod. The cylinder is painted black, while the piston road has been given an anti-rust treatment. We recommend, however, using stainless steel gas springs, if the springs are to be used in a humid environment.
GFRF version - Version of gas springs made of stainless steel. Available in largely the same sizes as the GF version. Produced with threads at both ends. Both the cylinder and piston rod are made of 304 stainless steel. If the gas spring is not to be used in a damp environment, you might also look at our GF version.
